Vegan Chocolate Milkshake
I'm here to spread the good news, people!! Chocolate is good for you! Raw cacao powder (sorry- I'm not talking Snickers bars) has so many health benefits from increasing your insulin sensititvy, thus lowering your diabetes risk, reducing stress, cutting your risk for stroke by raising your antioxidant levels and lowering your cholesterol, and even improving your iron levels! I mean honestly I don't need an excuse to eat more chocolate, but if you needed any convincing- then there you go! Now that I'm a newbie in the vegan world, I've found that most restaurants and bakeries I usually frequent don't have much (if anything) that suits my diet. So, I found this chocolate milkshake to be something I can make quickly at home to satisfy the sweet tooth that I have. It's rich and creamy, and if you're not a banana lover, don;t worry. The taste is completely masked by the chocolate. But it gives your shake a really creamy texture.
