brussels (Typically grocery stores carry pre-chopped, lightly seasoned brussels in the salad mix section. These are great when in a pinch because the cutting work's been done!)
1/2 tbs butter
1/2 tbs olive oil
balsamic vinegar
kosher salt
pepper

I threw about a 1/2 tablespoon each of butter and olive oil into a HOT pan. Then tossed in the Brussels with some kosher salt and pepper. Don't touch them for a couple minutes so they can brown nicely. Once they start to brown flip them to the other side, pour over some balsamic vinegar and let that baby cook down. If you like them a little softer put on a lid for no more than 3-5 minutes on medium-low heat. Taste as you go! You can always add a little more salt or balsamic if you need to, but you can't take it back if you go ham from the beginning!! 🙈
